Job Description

The Front of House General Kitchen Helper is responsible for ensuring that the kitchen is well maintained and stocked during high services hours. The maintenaning and cleanliness of the kitchen, stocking etc. In addition, the individual may perform other serviceable duties as assigned.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure all front-of-house food stations are fully stocked with fresh sandwiches, fruits, beverages, and other essential items throughout service hours
  • Monitor inventory levels and promptly restock to maintain availability and presentation standards
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure all food items meet quality and freshness standards
  • Prepare and organize food displays to ensure efficient service during peak hours
  • Ensure food items are attractively presented and easily accessible to customers
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
  • Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
  • Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition
  • reports any issues to management
  • Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Ensures security of company assets

Requirements

  • Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
