Job Description:

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant in Garforth Garden Centre. Our competitive rate of pay ranges from £10.40 to £12.75 per Hour dependent on age. The hours for this role are 20 per week over 5 days. This will involve weekend work so flexibility is a must.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menus
  • Work closely with FOH and kitchen teams to ensure restaurant runs smoothly
  • Set up and maintain front of house and counters each day to company standards
  • Present menus, serve, and help customers select food and beverage
  • Provide counter service and prepare beverages
  • Deliver chef prepared meals to customers at tables
  • Prepare restaurant tables with attention to hygiene and cleanliness
  • Process payment at electronic till points
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed
  • Close front of house areas each day to company standards
  • Assist with back of house duties as required

Requirements:

  • Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
  • Barista experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great teamwork
  • Hardworking
  • Shift flexibility including weekends
  • The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
