Job Description

At Sqills, we are looking for a Front-end Tester who is passionate about quality and modern automation tools. Do you want to work on a mission-critical suite that processes millions of bookings? Job Responsibility

  • You will work in a Scrum/Kanban team alongside developers and analysts, taking ownership of one of our front-end components
  • You analyze and understand high-level business requirements and translate them into expected software behavior
  • You develop and maintain automated tests for web applications using tools such as Cypress and Playwright
  • You automate GUI tests and API tests, and collaborate on accessibility, performance, and security testing strategies
  • You feel comfortable performing manual exploratory testing for several hours when needed to find those edge cases automation might miss
  • You document test results and report them clearly to the team and stakeholders
  • You ensure developers receive fast feedback on issues by being an integral part of the development lifecycle
  • You continuously look for improvements in processes, tooling, and methodologies to improve the quality of S3 Passenger

Requirements

  • Experience in test automation with tools like Cypress or Playwright
  • Solid understanding of testing techniques and methods
  • Experience with both GUI and REST API testing
  • Affinity with the technical side of testing: programming, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), and integration with development workflows
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and DevOps concepts
  • You are proactive, interested in the latest industry developments, and enjoy continuous learning
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Technical Management) is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React is a strong plus
