Job Description:

Citi is looking for a talented Front End Development Lead who is passionate to continue to evolve our next-generation trading application. The role requires a detailed understanding of software design/best practices along with a strong technical ability. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high profile trading application. The team works closely with end users gaining direct exposure to the world of front office trading and finance.

Job Responsibility:

Designing and developing the flagship Citi Velocity Desktop platform
Designing and developing the flagship Rates Trader Desktop platform
Working directly with end users on requirements analysis and capture
Troubleshooting challenging performance and scalability issues
Liaising with the global business, support, and development teams
Assisting in third line support during core trading hours and Production issues as needed
Enhancing automated testing efforts and optimizing UAT process
Utilizing the latest Web technologies
Developing efficient and robust solutions to challenging business problems
Working on a globally distributed team to deliver the next generation UI experience for traders at Citi

Requirements:

12-15 years of experience in developing large-scale enterprise desktop Web applications
Experience using Angular 8.0+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SAAS/LESS
Experience using Angular grid libraries (ag-Grid)
Experience with RxJS and ngRX
Experience with writing unit tests for Angular/Typescript using JEST
Experience with building cross-platform applications using Web technologies such as Electron, Chromium, and OpenFin
Experience with consuming real-time streaming data through web sockets
Experience with consuming JSON/XML based data from REST services
Experience with tools such as Visual Studio Code, npm, node.js
Experience with C#/.NET/WPF and object-oriented programming
Experience with writing unit tests for C#/.NET (NUnit/MSTest/SpecFlow)
Experience with Rx extensions (.NET)
Experience with web-based data visualization utilizing Angular/JavaScript HighCharts charting library
Experience with build pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins) and ECS hosting (OpenShift)
Experience developing large financial software trading systems
Knowledge of Interest Rates or Futures financial products (e.g. Treasuries/Swaps)
Experience in managing, leading, and implementing successful projects
Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Web Applications Development
Experience with modern software development practices such as Agile development, test-driven development, and continuous delivery
