Job Description:

As a Front-End Developer at BRIGHTSCOUT, you’ll play a key role in building beautiful, responsive, and engaging digital experiences that reflect the brands we help shape. From marketing sites and product interfaces to full-scale web applications, you'll collaborate with our design, UX, and project management teams to bring creative visions to life through clean, scalable front-end code. This role is front-end focused, but having a general understanding of back-end technologies is a plus. The ideal candidate is passionate about performance, design precision, and creating seamless user interactions across a wide variety of digital projects. You’ll work across modern front-end frameworks and platforms — including React/Next.js and Webflow — depending on the needs of each project.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand creative direction and translate it into functional, responsive front-end experiences
Develop, test, and deploy interactive web applications and websites using modern front-end technologies
Build reusable components and contribute to scalable design systems
Integrate front-end applications with APIs and headless CMS platforms
Build and maintain Webflow-based projects, ensuring high standards of responsiveness, performance, accessibility, and visual precision
Implement animations, transitions, and interactivity to enhance user engagement
Optimize applications for speed, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues across devices and screen sizes
Stay up-to-date with front-end tools, frameworks, and best practices
Contribute to internal documentation and participate in code reviews

Requirements:

4+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer
Strong proficiency in: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern styling approaches like Tailwind CSS
Experience building responsive and component-based interfaces across various screen sizes
Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility
Familiarity with integrating APIs and working with headless CMS platforms
Experience working with GraphQL
Experience interpreting and implementing designs from tools like Figma
Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting polished, high-quality front-end experiences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agency environment across multiple projects
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

Experience with animation libraries (e.g. Framer Motion, GSAP)
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS
Familiarity with basic back-end concepts (Node.js, APIs, databases)
Experience working within or contributing to a design system
Experience working with Webflow or similar visual development platforms in production environments
