Job Description:

An innovative company out of Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Front End Developer for a contract role supporting the modernization of an internal software suite. You’ll work onsite alongside a small team to develop a new desktop application, helping replace a legacy system with modern tools and frameworks.

Job Responsibility:

help replace a legacy system with modern tools and frameworks

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in front-end development
Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (Svelte, React, Vue, etc.)
Strong understanding of TailwindCSS and responsive UI design
Experience building desktop-style applications (Tauri or similar)
Comfortable working in a Windows development environment (Visual Studio or VS Code)
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers and product teams

Nice to have:

familiarity with SurrealDB, C++, or simulation/industrial applications
