As their Front-End Developer, you’ll take ownership of their Shopify store and digital platforms, ensuring a seamless e-commerce experience for their customers. You’ll work directly with the founders and the broader team to build, optimize, and experiment in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop & Optimize Shopify: Customize and maintain their Shopify store using Liquid, ensuring top-tier performance, speed, and responsiveness
  • A/B Testing & Tracking: Build and implement A/B tests to optimize user experience and conversion rates. Continuously refine user tracking and analytics for better insights
  • Tailor User Experiences: Develop innovative, visually engaging front-end solutions that align with their brand and enhance the customer journey
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, design, and product teams to bring ideas to life, from campaign launches to new feature rollouts
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues, debug, and optimize across devices and browsers to ensure a flawless experience
  • Leverage Figma: Work closely with their designer using Figma Developer Mode to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs
  • Stay Cutting Edge: Keep up with Shopify updates, Liquid developments, and industry trends to ensure they remain ahead of the competition

Requirements:

  • Proven Shopify Expertise: Extensive experience working on Shopify, with proficiency in Liquid and a deep understanding of its ecosystem
  • Front-End Development Skills: Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
  • A/B Testing Knowledge: Experience running experiments to improve UX and optimize site performance
  • User Tracking Expertise: Familiarity with setting up and optimizing analytics/tracking tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.)
  • Attention to Detail & Design Sense: A sharp eye for detail paired with a solid understanding of design principles to ensure pixel-perfect, user-friendly outputs
