Job Description:

MoJo Active works with a range of businesses from enterprise-level ecommerce to industrial B2B. We’re looking for a Front End Designer with the UX expertise and digital design skills to take those client sites and integrated marketing campaigns from simply usable to downright enjoyable. We are a team of digital marketing and creative pros driven to integrate our client websites and communications plans into winning strategies. As our new Front End Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on creative marketing and technology projects for a range of well-known regional and national clients.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborating with writers and fellow designers to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups
Creating UI design concepts for responsive sites with multiple breakpoints
Contributing to and collecting business requirements and user feedback when available
Translating requirements, wireframes, user flows and design elements into user interfaces
Using data to identify and troubleshoot UX and accessibility problems
Researching and learning solutions, processes, tools, best practices, software, etc. to help us continuously evolve our offerings
Extending client design concepts across integrated digital display, email and social campaigns
Branding design development (logos, colors, establishing design patterns and visual languages)
Creating and/or following previously established digital design patterns
Building UI kits and style libraries that ensure consistent application of all design elements
Occasionally engaging in print design work as part of overall campaign integration

Requirements:

3+ years of front-end design experience
A passion for creating engaging and user-friendly interface designs and interaction flows
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite
Hands-on familiarity with Figma
A portfolio of effective and well-designed websites and engaging digital experiences
Excellent design layout skills that include campaigns with creative ideas that translate across multiple marketing channels
Ability to convey complex concepts with quick sketches
Prototyping and wireframing experience
A sharp eye for integrating typography, composition, layout, and color into user experiences that delight and deliver
Experience creating responsive and accessible designs optimized for desktop and mobile devices
Ability to switch between multiple projects throughout each day
Strong attention to detail and understanding of UX and digital design concepts
Experience doing front-end work within a CMS environment
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
