Promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers and as such is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company.
Job Responsibility:
Provide WOW Customer Service to our members
Assist with class scheduling and billing
Work in a sales capacity to sell new memberships
Work as a swim instructor and lifeguard as needed
Answer telephones, respond to inquiries, take messages and screen and direct phone calls in a professional manner
Process student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques
Schedule and manage birthday/pool parties
Resolve customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach
Assist clients with purchases of merchandise and vending
Greet parents and students as they report to the front desk
Check in students on the attendance tracking system
Maintain cleanliness of the front desk area, snack shack area, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area
Monitor snack shack area and provide guidance to snack shack staff
Check voicemail and email correspondence and respond in a timely manner
Update informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature
Make collection calls to resolve open account problems
Prepare twice daily student lesson schedules for use by instructors and management staff
Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
Administer first aid when necessary
Work 1 swim instructor/lifeguard shift per week
Requirements:
Ability to work with children
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High energy
Strong work ethic
Ability to train and as Swim Instructor and Lifeguard
High school diploma or GED required
Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems
Nice to have:
Some college preferred
Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience preferred
