We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily front office operations in Melbourne, Florida. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for visitors while keeping phone and administrative workflows organized. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for guests and callers, helping ensure the front desk runs smoothly each day.
Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a courteous manner and guide them to the appropriate person or area
Manage a multi-line phone system, respond to incoming calls promptly, and direct inquiries to the correct department or staff member
Maintain an orderly reception area and support efficient day-to-day front office operations
Provide front desk assistance such as handling check-ins, general information requests, and basic concierge-style support
Process electronic payments accurately and follow established procedures for recording transactions
Monitor incoming messages, route communications efficiently, and escalate urgent matters when needed
Assist with scheduling, administrative coordination, and other clerical tasks that support office functionality
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or similar customer-facing administrative role
Ability to manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone or switchboard system
Experience providing detail-oriented receptionist and guest service support
Familiarity with processing electronic payments with accuracy and attention to detail
Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous, service-oriented approach
Ability to stay organized, handle multiple tasks at once, and remain composed in a busy environment
Reliable availability for a Monday through Friday schedule
