Robert Half is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Coordinator to support daily reception operations for a property management environment. This contract position is ideal for someone who brings a calm, service-focused approach and can create a welcoming experience for residents, guests, and visitors. The person in this Front Desk Coordinator role will serve as the first point of contact, respond to questions effectively, and help maintain an organized and secure front desk presence.
Job Responsibility
Oversee the reception area to ensure it remains orderly, attentive to detail, and responsive throughout the day
Welcome visitors upon arrival, determine their needs, and guide them to the appropriate person or location
Respond to guest questions in a courteous and timely manner, providing clear information and support
Address concerns or service issues with patience and care, escalating matters appropriately when needed
Monitor building entry communications through the intercom and verify access for individuals who do not use the building app
Maintain accurate front desk records, files, and basic data entry related to visitor activity and daily operations
Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare communications, update information, and support administrative tasks
Contribute to a positive customer experience by serving as a reliable and approachable point of contact for guests and residents
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in customer service, reception, or a similar front-facing role
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of guests and visitors
Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient, composed approach when handling questions or challenging situations
Ability to manage multiple front desk responsibilities while staying organized and attentive to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Comfortable performing data entry and maintaining organized files and records
Ability to exercise sound judgment when screening visitors and supporting building access procedures
