We are looking for an experienced Front Desk Coordinator to support daily front office operations for a Contract position based in Bluffton, South Carolina. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a welcoming and organized environment while keeping schedules and communications running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, handling incoming calls effectively, and using office software to coordinate appointments and administrative tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous manner and provide a detail-oriented front desk experience
Manage a multi-line phone system, direct incoming calls appropriately, and respond to routine inquiries efficiently
Coordinate calendars and appointments to support smooth daily scheduling for team members and guests
Maintain organized front office operations by assisting with reception coverage and general administrative support
Arrange and confirm meetings, visitor check-ins, and other scheduled activities with accuracy and attention to detail
Support staff scheduling needs by updating work schedules and communicating changes in a timely manner
Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare, track, and maintain documents, calendars, and related office records
Requirements:
Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing administrative role
Ability to operate a multi-line telephone or switchboard system with confidence and professionalism
Strong scheduling and calendar coordination skills, including appointment management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for routine administrative and communication tasks
Excellent verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, service-oriented approach
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
Dependable attendance and the ability to handle front office responsibilities with minimal supervision
