We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Richmond, Virginia, on a contract basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional customer service. Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist visitors promptly, ensuring a welcoming and attentive environment
Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel
Handle inbound calls efficiently, providing accurate information and addressing inquiries
Coordinate front desk activities, including managing schedules and maintaining records
Provide concierge-style services to support internal and external stakeholders
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the reception area
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and document management
Monitor and respond to emails, ensuring timely and accurate communication
Support various office functions as needed to contribute to overall organizational goals
Requirements:
Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles is required
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and directing calls effectively
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service-oriented with a friendly and detail-oriented approach
Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
Familiarity with basic office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office
