We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Dorchester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to managing administrative tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage a multi-line phone system to answer and direct incoming calls promptly and accurately
Provide concierge-style services to address visitor and staff inquiries effectively
Maintain the front desk area in an organized and presentable manner
Coordinate and schedule appointments as needed, ensuring seamless communication
Handle administrative tasks such as sorting mail, managing supplies, and maintaining records
Respond to inbound calls and inquiries with a courteous and solution-oriented approach
Support the team with additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front desk or receptionist role
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and switchboards
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries effectively
Familiarity with basic office software and administrative tools
Demonstrates a detail-oriented approach and attention to detail
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
