We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily office operations for a real estate and property organization in West Des Moines, Iowa. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers while keeping administrative workflows accurate and organized. The role requires strong attention to detail, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to manage multiple front office tasks efficiently.
Job Responsibility
Answer and manage incoming phone calls, creating a positive first impression and routing inquiries to the appropriate team members
Welcome visitors and assist with front desk interactions in a courteous and service-oriented manner
Sort, distribute, and handle incoming mail to ensure timely delivery within the office
Maintain organized filing systems and keep documents accessible, accurate, and up to date
Respond to general customer questions and provide helpful assistance while escalating issues when needed.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role
Proven ability to manage receptionist duties with consistency and attention to detail
Experience handling daily mail distribution and related office coordination tasks
Strong document filing and records organization skills with close attention to detail
Clear verbal communication skills and confidence directing calls appropriately
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a busy office setting.
