We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual who can manage front office activities, provide a welcoming experience, and keep communication flowing smoothly throughout the day. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and comfortable handling a busy reception area while supporting daily administrative needs.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome guests, clients, and staff with a courteous presence and ensure each visitor is directed appropriately
Manage a multi-line phone system, respond to incoming calls promptly, and transfer inquiries to the correct departments or team members
Maintain the front desk area so it remains organized, presentable, and ready to receive visitors at all times
Provide concierge-style assistance by answering general questions and helping coordinate basic visitor needs
Monitor daily front office activity, including sign-ins, message taking, and routine communication support
Assist with light administrative tasks such as scheduling support, document handling, and general office coordination
Relay accurate information between callers, guests, and internal teams to support efficient day-to-day operations
Requirements:
Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing office support role
Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system with confidence and accuracy
Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, service-oriented demeanor
Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency in basic office procedures and general administrative support activities
