Job Description

We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual who can manage front office activities, provide a welcoming experience, and keep communication flowing smoothly throughout the day. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and comfortable handling a busy reception area while supporting daily administrative needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome guests, clients, and staff with a courteous presence and ensure each visitor is directed appropriately
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, respond to incoming calls promptly, and transfer inquiries to the correct departments or team members
  • Maintain the front desk area so it remains organized, presentable, and ready to receive visitors at all times
  • Provide concierge-style assistance by answering general questions and helping coordinate basic visitor needs
  • Monitor daily front office activity, including sign-ins, message taking, and routine communication support
  • Assist with light administrative tasks such as scheduling support, document handling, and general office coordination
  • Relay accurate information between callers, guests, and internal teams to support efficient day-to-day operations

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing office support role
  • Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system with confidence and accuracy
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, service-oriented demeanor
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency in basic office procedures and general administrative support activities
