We are looking for an organized and personable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. Job Responsibility:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression
Serve as the face of the office, providing friendly and detail-oriented assistance
Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department, maintaining clear communication
Manage multi-line phone systems, including answering and routing inbound calls efficiently
Perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining organized records
Address inquiries and provide concierge-level services to assist guests effectively
Ensure the front desk area remains tidy, organized, and presentable at all times
Collaborate with team members to streamline front desk operations and improve guest experiences
Utilize computer systems proficiently to support daily operations and communication
Respond promptly to any issues or concerns raised by visitors or staff
Requirements:
Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles is strongly preferred
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Ability to navigate computer systems and perform basic administrative tasks
Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain a neat workspace
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
