We are looking for a detail-oriented and approachable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in El Segundo, California. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional service to visitors and callers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or direct them to appropriate personnel
Manage a multi-line phone system by answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls in a courteous manner
Provide concierge services, ensuring guests and employees receive necessary support
Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area to uphold a positive image
Coordinate with team members to complete administrative tasks and support daily operations
Handle scheduling or appointment requests and communicate updates promptly
Monitor and organize incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and packages
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while managing front desk operations
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and task completion
Identify and address any issues affecting the reception area and resolve them efficiently
Requirements:
Prior experience in receptionist or front desk roles, preferably in healthcare or related industries
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and managing inbound calls
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with individuals from various backgrounds
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities effectively
Familiarity with concierge services and customer support
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when required
Basic knowledge of office equipment and administrative tools
