We are looking for a personable and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join a team in St. Louis Park. This is a long-term contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Job Responsibility:
Greet staff, and visitors warmly while managing a welcoming and detail-oriented front desk environment
Handle incoming calls efficiently using a multi-line phone system, directing inquiries and providing accurate information
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars to ensure timely coordination
Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records
Support students during stressful situations by offering guidance and maintaining a calm demeanor
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and operational flow
Provide concierge-style services to meet the needs of the campus community
Address and resolve concerns or questions from students and staff promptly
Uphold the university's standards of customer service and satisfaction
Train and support new team members as needed to enhance overall departmental performance
Requirements:
Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and directing calls effectively
Strong administrative skills, including scheduling and organizational abilities
Ability to remain composed and supportive during high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse groups
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in handling records and data
A customer-service mindset with a focus on creating positive experiences
Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with team members and the campus community
