We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in San Diego, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, providing excellent customer service, and managing phone communications effectively. Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate personnel
Manage a multi-line phone system, including answering inbound calls and transferring them efficiently
Provide concierge-level services to ensure visitors and staff experience seamless support
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of front desk activities to maintain order and a high standard of service
Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records, organizing documents, and ensuring the front desk area remains tidy
Respond promptly to emails and phone messages, ensuring timely communication with clients and team members
Monitor incoming deliveries and coordinate their distribution within the office
Support other departments with front desk-related tasks as needed to enhance overall organizational efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles, demonstrating strong customer service skills
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and inbound call management
Ability to perform switchboard operations for phone lines ranging from 1 to 10
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with concierge services and a commitment to delivering outstanding support
Attentive and detail-oriented approach with the ability to maintain a welcoming environment
Knowledge of basic administrative tasks and office equipment
