The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming and checking in hotel guests, introducing the hotel and accommodation, establishing credit or payment methods and arranging for luggage to be delivered to guest rooms. Other tasks would include checking guests out of the hotel at the end of their stay, preparing and explaining guest bills and responding to a wide variety of guest requests, adding your personal recommendations and touches ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome and register guests, with an emphasis on fulfilling requests
Follow special handling instructions and adhere to established credit policies and procedures as well as Four Seasons Standards
Recite all information regarding Hotel facilities, hours of operation, key personnel, special events and activities, and functions in the Hotel
Quote and be familiar with room and rate availability for current and future dates
Successfully complete a room reservation for any given time period knowing what types of accommodations, rates and owners time available
Utilise the computer system in running daily reports and posting charges and credits
Handle guest problems or complaints in conjunction with Management, keeping them well informed as to the problems and actions taken
Act as an ambassador for the hotel, displaying a great sense of style and integrity and a friendly, courteous and professional attitude in all dealings with guests and employees
Communicate to all support departments any necessary information or requests and work harmoniously and professionally with all colleagues
Requirements:
Front Desk experience in luxury hospitality operations
Natural talent for ensuring guests feel at home
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Exceptional eye for detail
Must possess the legal right to work in France at the time of application
Fluency in French and English
Knowledge of Opera PMS is required
