We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk Agent. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a hotel setting. Proficiency with the Property Engagement Platform (PEP) will be a plus.
Job Responsibility:
Warmly greet and check guests in and out efficiently using the PEP property management system
Manage and process guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately within the PEP system
Handle all financial transactions, including processing payments, verifying credit cards, and ensuring accurate end-of-shift cash/credit balancing
Answer phone calls, route them appropriately, and provide information about the hotel, services, and local attractions
Act as the main point of contact for guests, promptly and professionally addressing all inquiries, requests, and complaints to ensure a positive stay
Maintain an organized and clean front desk and lobby area
Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Record pertinent guest information, issues, and shift activities in the logbook for review by management
Adhere to all hotel policies, brand standards, and security procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of front desk or hospitality-related customer service experience is strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
Lift up to 30 lbs
Smile and engage with guests consistently
