The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure by handling all front desk interactions with efficiency, professionalism, and warmth. This role ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests while supporting daily hotel operations.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction
Manage reservations, process payments, and maintain accurate guest accounts
Answer guest inquiries, provide hotel information, and address complaints promptly and professionally
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support smooth operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
Provide accurate information about rooms, rates, amenities, and local recommendations
Promote teamwork, uphold service standards, and contribute to a safe and friendly work environment
Protect guest privacy by maintaining strict confidentiality of all personal and financial information
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
A strong desire to make an impact on other people
An outgoing and engaging personality
Computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
