Job Description:

The Front Desk Agent role at JW Marriott Hotel Zhengzhou involves delivering excellent customer service by assisting guests with check-ins, processing payments, responding to requests, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless experience. Job Responsibility:

  • Process guest check-ins, reservations, and room assignments
  • process payments including cash, credit, debit, and checks
  • resolve late and disputed charges
  • answer and process guest calls and requests
  • coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness
  • communicate parking procedures
  • provide directions and local area information
  • run daily reports
  • complete cashier and closing reports in system
  • assist with check cashing and receipt balancing
  • comply with safety, security, and company policies
  • assist guests with disabilities
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • maintain professional communication and relationships with coworkers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • no related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
  • clear and professional communication skills
  • ability to use computer systems to process transactions and reports
  • adherence to company safety, security, and confidentiality policies
  • willingness to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • compliance with quality assurance standards
