As a Fritz's Adventure Camp Attendant you are responsible for the child care of children ages 3-12 years old, creating a fun and safe learning environment and performing duties in compliance with licensing requirements. Job Responsibility:
Greeting and communicating with parents
Checking children in and out of the facility
Supervising campers ages 3-12 years old
Responding to parents questions, concerns and comments
Reporting parental concerns and comments to supervisor
Ensuring safe play conditions and following established day care safety and security procedures
Engaging in activities such as arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor games, kayaking, swimming, hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, singing and reading with children
Immediately treating and/or reporting to parents and supervisor child injuries and complete accident reports
Completing and filing daily record keeping requirements and collection of fees
Answering the telephone and making reservations as necessary
Maintaining, cleaning and storing of equipment and supplies
Participating in daily activities, meals and supervising rest periods for campers
Maintaining safety and cleaning checklists and procedures
maintaining clean environment, performing janitorial duties as required
Coaching children and recommending measures for behavior control
Reporting any camper behavioral concerns to supervisor
Requirements:
At least 18 years old
Available to work days, weekends and holidays
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three months related experience and/or training
Proficient or have experience in outdoor activities including ziplining, fishing, sailing, paintball, horseback riding, swimming, hiking, golf, campfire preparation, tennis and crafts
Possess a valid driver's license
Able to provide or obtain a Central Registry Clearance from the Department of Health and Human Services, three letters of reference and an updated resume
