Are you a passionate linguist ready to inspire the next generation of Francophiles? Randstad Education is currently seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school community in the Woking area. This is a pivotal role starting after the Easter break, offering the stability of a permanent contract or a 'temp-to-perm' transition for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality French lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for their GCSEs with creativity and academic rigour.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and execute engaging lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Support Year 10 and 11 students through the AQA or Edexcel syllabus, focusing on exam technique and linguistic confidence
Adapt resources to support all learners, from those with SEN to high-attaining pupils
Foster a love for the French-speaking world through authentic resources, film, and literature
Requirements:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
A degree in French or a related subject, with the ability to teach up to KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
Proven track record of raising attainment and managing classroom behaviour effectively
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Valid eligibility to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role)
