ROLE SUMMARY: Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGS) is a vibrant and community-oriented institution offering premium British-style and Moroccan education to both local and expatriate students. We are currently seeking a French Class Teacher to inspire and support students in developing strong French language skills and a love for the language. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the curriculum, fostering communication, comprehension, and cultural awareness. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, supportive classroom environment while maintaining high standards of discipline and safeguarding. The post holder will also assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure academic growth and personal development.

Job Responsibility

  • Planning and Delivering Lessons: Prepare age-appropriate, interactive French lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to different learning styles
  • Language Skills Development: Teach listening, speaking, reading, and writing in French, using songs, games, stories, and visual aids
  • Assessment: Evaluate students' progress through oral and written assessments, quizzes, and class participation
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and respect
  • Cultural Awareness: Introduce students to French-speaking cultures, traditions, and customs to broaden their global understanding
  • Individual Support: Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement, providing extra help or enrichment as needed
  • Collaboration: Work with other teachers, staff, and parents to support students' overall development and participate in school events or projects
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with new teaching methods, resources, and educational technology relevant to language instruction
