Our client, a global humanitarian organization, is looking to add to its member support team. This is a diverse team that serves a diverse, global member population with a wide variety of requests. The current opening is to support the members from French-speaking nations and will require business fluent French language written and verbal communication skills. This is an immediate opening for 6 months that could evolve into a permanent business need. This role is fully remote, but will require availabitliy to commute to Evanston, IL if local for 5-6 days of training throughout first month.
Job Responsibility:
Fielding a high volume of phone and email inquiries as a first point of contact for the organization in both English and French
Maintaining detailed and accurate records in a member relations database
Handling confidential personal and financial information
Troubleshooting issues with and helping to provide positive user experience on the external member-facing apps.
Requirements:
Business-level fluency in French and English, both verbal and written
At least 1+ year of experience offering internal or external customer service in a corporate setting or nonprofit organization
Experience navigating customer relationship management systems and utilizing MS Office
The ability to work remotely without interruption, including a home work space and reliable internet.
