Are you a detail-oriented French language speaker with a passion for translation and editing? We’re looking for a dedicated French Language Editor to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of translations, working closely with various stakeholders to meet their needs. If you have a keen eye for language nuances, enjoy working with industry-specific terminology, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Need to perform 8,000 words (WWC) of edition/MTPE per day
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure translation meets their needs
  • Take care of the translation and editing for requests of less than 150 words
  • Performing MT post-editing
  • Follow the localization quality control process to ensure terminological consistency and compliance with the respective title style guide, Glossary, and reference material
  • Manage and propagate translation updates to existing translated documents based on any changes made
  • Read the given material and research industry-specific terminology
  • Regularly update the terminology database in the language you are proficient in
  • Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
  • Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of translation
  • Support and enhance the Localization Player Experience paradigm

Requirements:

  • Need to perform a strict minimum of 8 000 words (WWC) of edition/ MTPE per day
  • Perform skilled research to improve translation quality
  • Use of translation memory
