Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented French language speaker with a passion for translation and editing? We’re looking for a dedicated French Language Editor to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of translations, working closely with various stakeholders to meet their needs. If you have a keen eye for language nuances, enjoy working with industry-specific terminology, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Responsibility:

Need to perform 8,000 words (WWC) of edition/MTPE per day
Follow up with stakeholders to ensure translation meets their needs
Take care of the translation and editing for requests of less than 150 words
Performing MT post-editing
Follow the localization quality control process to ensure terminological consistency and compliance with the respective title style guide, Glossary, and reference material
Manage and propagate translation updates to existing translated documents based on any changes made
Read the given material and research industry-specific terminology
Regularly update the terminology database in the language you are proficient in
Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of translation
Support and enhance the Localization Player Experience paradigm

Requirements:

Need to perform a strict minimum of 8 000 words (WWC) of edition/ MTPE per day
Perform skilled research to improve translation quality
Use of translation memory
Commitment to delivering all projects on time and with high-quality translation up to the client’s standard
