We are looking for an experienced SEO / GEO Digital Copywriter to join a large international digital team within the financial services sector. In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening organic visibility across traditional search engines as well as AI-powered search platforms. You will work closely with copywriters, product managers, legal experts, digital analysts, and IT teams to align content, SEO/GEO strategy, and business objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. This role is based mainly in Brussels and starts January – February.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement SEO / GEO best practices, defining a yearly roadmap aligned with business strategy, customer needs, and search opportunities
Write high-quality, engaging, and audience-relevant digital content, following SEO / GEO and UX guidelines
Collaborate closely with Copywriters, Product Managers, and Legal Experts to align SEO / GEO opportunities with business priorities and legal requirements
Optimize content visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences
Partner with Digital Analysts to measure performance, impact, and ROI
Analyze and report on SEO / GEO KPIs, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
Work closely with IT teams to implement technical SEO / GEO requirements
Share SEO / GEO knowledge, best practices, and guidelines with the Digital Team and other Copywriters
Contribute to continuous improvement of content performance and search visibility across digital channels
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a digital copywriter
Native French speaker, fluent in English, with at least a good understanding of Dutch
Strong knowledge of local SEO / GEO best practices
Hands-on experience with GA4 and keyword research tools
Analytical mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to adapt writing style depending on audience, channel, and objectives
Nice to have:
Experience in e-commerce or (financial) services is a strong plus
