Our client, a well-established Shared Service Center in Greece, is seeking a talented French-speaking Collections Specialist to optimize collections processes and contribute to a successful financial performance. In this role, you will engage in professional communication with business clients across the Francophone region to improve cash flow while ensuring adherence to credit policies. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work model and the chance to join an international team.

Job Responsibility

  • Contact clients via phone and email regarding overdue invoices
  • Send Statement of Accounts and dunning letters
  • Identify and resolve payment or billing issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Accurately record all interactions and payment commitments
  • Liaise with internal departments to address collection challenges
  • Prepare management reports on collections and account status
  • Build strong relationships with clients to facilitate collections and resolve any disputes
  • Assess payment behaviors to identify potential credit risks
  • Mentor and support junior team members on collections best practices and negotiation techniques

Requirements

  • Experience in Accounting/ Collections/ Credit or related financial services roles
  • Attention to details
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Client-centric mindset
  • Excellent command in French
  • Proficient level of English
  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related subject, is considered a plus
  • Very good knowledge MS Office
