Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to drive freight operations across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. It focuses on developing and executing innovative strategies to optimize the movement of goods within SEA, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service reliability. The role also aims to align regional freight operations with evolving customer needs and organizational objectives, while strengthening our position and driving growth within the SEA market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive freight strategies to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region
  • Oversee and optimize end-to-end freight operations within SEA, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across markets
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the region
  • Leverage advanced technologies and innovative solutions to enhance freight operations, improve visibility, and reduce costs
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with regional freight operations, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations within SEA
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers across SEA markets
  • Manage the budget and financial performance of the SEA freight function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Lead and develop a high-performing regional team, fostering collaboration across diverse SEA markets and promoting talent growth
  • Drive sustainability initiatives within freight operations to reduce environmental impact and support corporate ESG goals in the region
  • Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with regional and global carriers and logistics providers to optimize service levels and cost efficiency
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and deliver best-in-class performance across SEA

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in freight transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, with progressive leadership responsibilities, preferably within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and cross-border logistics operations across SEA markets
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, execution, and driving performance improvement initiatives within the freight or logistics industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, multi-country SEA environment
  • Solid knowledge of regional market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, and infrastructure challenges within Southeast Asia is highly advantageous
