Freight Operations Executive

• Handle export and import air freight shipments, ensuring smooth end-to-end coordination and timely movement of goods
• Arrange shipment collections, pickups, and delivery orders
• Prepare and manage all shipment documentation, including bookings, scheduling, and cutting Air Waybills
• Coordinate customs clearance procedures as required
• Work closely with the sales team on business opportunities and shipment requirements
• Provide customer service support, including responding to customer inquiries and ensuring timely updates
• Communicate with carriers, overseas agents, and customers via phone and email
• Ensure accurate shipment data entry into company systems and submission to government agencies as required
• Track and monitor shipment milestones to ensure timely departure and delivery
• Verify shipment documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required paperwork
• Support the processing of hazardous materials in accordance with IATA and CFR regulations (if applicable)

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience in freight operations, preferably with a strong focus on air freight
• Familiarity with global air freight movement, carriers, and basic export/import processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• CargoWise experience is a plus
