Requirements

Previous experience as Freight Handlers and ability to work in fast paced and busy environments
Approximately 2 years of experience in freight handling or a similar fast-paced logistics environment is highly regarded
The ability to adapt quickly to different sections of the depot and thrive in a busy, high-volume setting
Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including repetitive lifting of items up to 25kg (with a commitment to using team-lift techniques for heavier items)
Capacity to remain active and on your feet for the duration of the shift to meet operational needs
A strong safety-first mindset with the ability to follow complex instructions and site protocols accurately
A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
Current valid Police Check
Valid Australian Working Rights
Driver License

Job Responsibility

Sorting & Distribution: Efficiently scanning and sorting parcels into designated bays and cages
Manual Handling: Managing repetitive lifting of items, including items up to 25kg
Freight Preparation: Palletising and shrink-wrapping goods to ensure they are transit-ready
Safety Compliance: Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhering to all site-specific safety protocols
Specialized Task: Utilizing strapping and securing techniques to ensure freight stability (experience in this area is highly regarded)
