Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Operator to join our growing team in Bacup. Applicants must have a strong all-round knowledge of the freight forwarding industry, with Sea Export experience preferred. This role would suit someone currently working for, or with previous experience in, a Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line. Please note: candidates from a manufacturing-only background will not be considered.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing sea freight export shipments
  • Coordinating transport and logistics operations
  • Liaising with customers, shipping lines, hauliers, and agents
  • Handling freight documentation and customs paperwork
  • Tracking shipments and resolving operational issues efficiently

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within Freight Forwarding or a Shipping Line
  • Strong understanding of freight operations and export procedures
  • Sea Export experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads effectively
