Job Description:

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our who is urgently seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their well-established logistics team based in Mallusk. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled freight professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing end-to-end freight operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate import and export shipments across road, air, and sea
  • Liaise with carriers, agents, and customers to ensure smooth, timely deliveries
  • Prepare and manage all shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices, etc.)
  • Provide quotations and negotiate rates with suppliers and clients
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve any issues during transit
  • Ensure full compliance with international trade and customs regulations

Requirements:

  • Must have previous freight forwarding experience - 100 % essential
  • Strong familiarity with customs procedures and documentation
  • Knowledge of customs and international shipping regulations
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy operational environment
