The Freight Communication Executive will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various stakeholders involved in the freight and logistics process. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Freight Communication Executive will be responsible for managing inquiries, providing updates on shipments, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams regarding freight operations and logistics
  • Provide timely updates on shipment statuses, delivery schedules, and any potential issues or delays
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Assist customers with documentation and compliance requirements related to freight shipments
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth freight handling and timely deliveries
  • Work closely with customs and compliance teams to facilitate the clearance of shipments
  • Maintain accurate records of communication, shipment statuses, and operational metrics
  • Prepare and distribute reports on freight activities, performance metrics, and customer feedback
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or challenges in the freight process to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management is an advantage
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or communication roles is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and freight management software
