The UX/UI Designer will contribute to creating intuitive, engaging experiences, as well as executing supporting visual designs that help engage customers within client guidelines. The position requires good communication skills as you will participate in UX discovery client workshops. The ideal candidate will be creative and detail-oriented, with a passion for design and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
Job Responsibility:
Working on the client offering and contributing to the design output from small amendments to larger scale projects
Participating in stakeholder and customer interviews
Supporting UX discovery client workshops
Translating stakeholder and customer needs into engaging user-centered design solutions
Creating UX and UI documentation including personas, user stories, user flows, sitemaps, content maps, and wireframes
Building prototypes that can be tested with users and presented to stakeholders
Participating in usability testing sessions, interpreting results, and iterating concepts as required
Ensuring visual design supports our client's brands and evolving where necessary
Creating high-quality design work
Developing project documentation and guidelines
Requirements:
2-4 years proven experience designing across multiple platforms
University degree in Graphic/Digital Design or related field of study or equivalent experience
Knowledge of UX processes, methodologies, and understanding how they are best used within the context of a project
Understanding of information architecture, content hierarchy, and UX design principles
Good problem-solving skills
Natural ability to collaborate in a team as part of the design process
Good communication and presentation skills
Experience with user interface design patterns and standard user-centered design methodologies
Understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.1) principles
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap framework
Ability to organize, prioritize work, and collaborate to properly complete tasks
A self-starter, able to work with appropriate guidance
Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC tools (XD, After Effects and InDesign are desirable) and Microsoft suite
A portfolio of work demonstrating the points above
