Our client, a leading NYC-based pharmaceutical agency, is seeking a Social Writer with proven experience creating content for healthcare professionals (HCP) audiences. This role will support a fast-paced, highly regulated brand and collaborate closely with creative, strategy, account, and medical teams to deliver insight-driven, compliant social content. The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with a deep understanding of healthcare marketing and is confident navigating MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) processes. You should be skilled at translating complex scientific information into engaging, platform-specific content tailored to HCPs.
Job Responsibility:
Develop compelling, social-first content across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, etc.) tailored to HCP audiences
Translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, engaging, and compliant messaging
Partner cross-functionally with creative, strategy, account, and medical teams to concept and execute integrated campaigns
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, regulatory standards, and client objectives
Participate in MLR review processes
incorporate feedback accurately and efficiently
Contribute to content calendars, campaign ideation, and real-time/social moments
Stay current on social trends and healthcare industry developments to inform content strategy
Requirements:
3–6+ years of experience in social writing, copywriting, or content development within healthcare/pharma or medical communications
Demonstrated experience writing for HCP audiences
Agency experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with MLR processes and working in regulated environments
Strong portfolio showcasing social and campaign work
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
