Our client, a New York-based advertising agency, is seeking a Freelance Project Director to support an urgent engagement. This role will lead a large-scale, integrated program across multiple workstreams, partnering closely with account, creative, and strategy teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end project management for a large-scale integrated program
Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
Collaborate cross-functionally with account, creative, strategy, and production teams
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports
Identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and proactively drive solutions
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on project status and execution
Ensure alignment across teams and maintain high-quality standards throughout delivery
Requirements:
8–10+ years of project management experience within an agency environment (PR, advertising, or integrated marketing)
Proven experience leading complex, integrated campaigns or programs
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive projects independently
Experience with integrated campaign delivery across digital, social, and content
