Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Post Production PA to join our team. This is an entry-level, in-office position perfect for someone looking to build a career in post-production. As the swing shift PA, you will be the backbone of our evening operations, providing essential support to our editors, assistant editors, and producers. You will ensure our post-production pipeline runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and our creative team has everything they need to succeed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for evening support
  • Handle essential company runs, including hard drive/gear pick-ups and drop-offs, client deliveries, and other time-sensitive errands
  • Manage evening meal orders for the team, office supplies are stocked, and ensure edit bays and common areas are clean and organized
  • Assist with media management, including ingesting footage, creating and organizing proxies, and setting up new project files
  • Perform light editing tasks, such as creating cutdowns, reformatting/resizing videos for social media platforms, and adding subtitles
  • Support the finishing process by assisting with online conform preparation, prepping sequences for color and audio, and handling final versioning
  • Create and export various versions of final cuts for different platforms, specs, and clients
  • Perform basic QC checks on final exports
  • Assist with labeling, tracking hard drives, archiving projects, and other basic office duties

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in-office Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Basic knowledge of post-production workflows and familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and stay calm in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
