Job Description:

We have a rare, long-term opportunity for a Project Planner to join a major rail upgrade project in Cardiff. This role is perfect for a scheduling expert who enjoys the complexity of multi-disciplinary schemes involving Civils & Building. As the project moves through its delivery phase, you will be the 'engine room' of the schedule, ensuring the project remains on track, compliant, and commercially viable.

Job Responsibility:

  • Creating, maintaining, and updating complex project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Working closely with Site/Sub Agents to capture progress from both self-delivery teams and subcontractors
  • Developing progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves for senior management and external stakeholders
  • Managing delay analysis, identifying critical path impacts, and assisting with RFI/NCR impact assessments on the program
  • Interfacing with the client and Network Rail to ensure all milestones and access constraints are effectively managed

Requirements:

  • Must be a power user of Primavera P6
  • Proven track record in Rail or general Civils
  • Able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for the delivery team
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
