Job Description:

Indagare is seeking a remote freelance editor to support its content team on a part-time basis. This role centers on researching, writing, editing, photo-sourcing, and implementing high-quality travel content across Indagare's destination guides, articles, and newsletters.

Job Responsibility:

  • Research, write, and implement travel articles and destination guide content for Indagare.com
  • Edit trip learnings and staff write-ups into polished articles and destination guide listings that reflect Indagare's voice, tone, and style guidelines
  • Create destination research packets
  • Source, curate, and implement high-quality imagery for articles, newsletters, and destination guides
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines independently

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an editorial role
  • Preference for candidates who have worked in the travel space
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work at pace, turning out thoughtfully written pieces and implementing multi-part content assignments error-free
  • Self-starter who sees challenges through to viable solutions
