The Telegraph is keen to hear from freelancers with digital production experience. As a freelance digital production journalist, you will sub-edit and build online articles for both home and world news to ensure that The Telegraph's content is produced to the highest standard in a timely way, ranging from breaking news to long-form reads. Working in a fast-moving and often pressurised environment, you will bring high-quality production skills and the ability to publish numerous stories per shift with flair and attention to detail. It is vital you have the ability to craft sharp headlines, spot potential errors, and sub copy in a quick and accurate way. You should also have a flair for presentation, including pictures, graphics and interactive particles. You should have experience from a regional, trade or national-level publication, preferably of working in a news production environment. Shift times are typically 2pm until 10pm, although there are a range of start times, across a seven-day rota. All shifts will be in person, in The Telegraph's newsroom in Victoria.
