Job Description:

We are seeking talented 3D Visualization Designers and CAD Specialists on behalf of our client in the Heavy Equipment Manufacturing industry. We are building a qualified talent pool to meet projected staffing needs for an anticipated contract role. This position is ideal for professionals who bridge the gap between technical engineering data and high-end commercial rendering. Please note that specific pay rates and project details may vary depending on the roles that arise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Transform complex engineering CAD data into high-fidelity, interactive product visualizations for digital marketing and web-based platforms
  • Import and manage large-scale STEP files from engineering platforms (specifically PTC Creo / Windchill) for use in rendering software
  • Prepare engineering assemblies for visualization by removing non-visible internal components, simplifying geometry, and managing large datasets to ensure performance efficiency
  • Extract and export technical decals, labels, and branding elements into appropriate formats for texture mapping
  • Create photorealistic product images and interactive 360-degree assets that allow users to rotate equipment and inspect specific features on web interfaces
  • Perform precision modeling of missing or simplified components that are not present in engineering-grade files-such as tire treads, hydraulic hose routing, and cabin interior details-to ensure visual accuracy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience within the construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment manufacturing sectors
  • Expertise in working with STEP files and navigating PTC Creo and Windchill environments
  • Mastery of industry-standard rendering software (e.g., KeyShot, V-Ray, 3ds Max, or Unreal Engine)
  • Strong mechanical modeling capabilities to augment existing engineering files with high-detail cosmetic features
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating the ability to turn raw CAD data into photorealistic, marketing-ready assets
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Graphics, or a related technical field is preferred
