Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred

Job Responsibility

Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
Act as the patient advocate
Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Coordinate services provided by ancillary departments to support optimal patient outcomes
Serve as a patient advocate, promoting patient safety, dignity, and satisfaction
Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health
Participate in staff meetings, unit-based initiatives, and continuous quality improvement activities
Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
