We are looking for a detail-oriented Fraud Prevention Investigator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Hanover, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to safeguarding both customers and the organization by identifying and investigating potential fraudulent activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in fraud prevention within the banking industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review alerts and analyze suspicious transactions to identify potential fraudulent activity
  • Conduct thorough investigations into account activity, ensuring findings align with bank policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex cases effectively and escalate issues when necessary
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports and maintain accurate documentation for compliance purposes
  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance fraud prevention operations
  • Assist with special projects aimed at strengthening the bank’s fraud detection capabilities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fraud investigation, AML, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud detection techniques
  • Familiarity with credit risk management principles and tools
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed investigations and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting purposes
  • Experience working in a banking or financial services environment is preferred
