The Junior UAT Tester will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for Fraud Detection systems within BFSI applications. This role focuses on validating fraud rules, alerts, and transaction monitoring workflows. Candidates with exposure to Fraud, Claims, or Risk domains will have an added advantage.
Job Responsibility:
Execute UAT test scenarios for Fraud Detection systems under guidance
Validate fraud rules, alerts, and case management workflows
Perform functional and regression testing for fraud detection and prevention flows
Verify accuracy of flagged transactions and ensure correct fraud identification
Validate end-to-end transaction monitoring and alert generation processes
Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA
Assist in preparing UAT test data, especially fraud scenarios and edge cases
Support business users during UAT cycles and ensure requirements are met
Learn fraud risk concepts, compliance requirements (e.g., AML/KYC), and QA best practices
Collaborate with QA, business, and development teams during test cycles
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience or relevant internship in BFSI testing or UAT
Basic understanding of Fraud Detection, AML, or transaction monitoring processes
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Strong attention to detail, especially in analyzing suspicious transactions
Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders
Willingness to learn fraud domain concepts and regulatory requirements
Nice to have:
ISTQB Foundation certification (or pursuing)
Exposure to Fraud, Claims, or Risk-based testing
Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
Understanding of fraud rules engines or case management systems
