Job Description

This position will be a part of Circle K’s Global Capabilities Network (GNC) and will collaboratively work with external full franchisees and internal team members. Responsible for providing support to full franchise locations through assistance with PDI daily close paperwork, procedural issues, reporting and accounting questions. Position will also be responsible for various period end tasks such as financial journal entries, account reconciliations and reporting in support of the Circle K full franchise program.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with full franchise owners, accounting staff and store personnel to answer questions, resolve issues and provide general operations support as it relates to accounting activities at the stores
  • Review and reconcile daily PDI franchise export files prior to transmitting to stores to ensure that stores receive balance and complete data
  • Prepare various daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for franchise operations groups and franchisees
  • Prepare journal entries for CK period end close
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, as assigned
  • Set up new franchise export processes for new stores
  • Support new full franchise store openings with pre-conversion support and post-conversion on-site support, if needed
  • Participate in special projects related to the full franchise group
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Convenience industry experience a plus
  • Must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with PDI Retail Suite a plus
  • Convenience store or retail experience a plus
