Job Description

This role will lead franchise marketing for all products across our Turn 10 and Playground Games studios. Known globally for the award-winning Forza Horizon, Forza Motorsport, and Fable franchises, some of the most beloved and largest gaming communities in the world. Leading a team of high-performing Global Marketing Managers, this candidate should be an enthusiastic people manager with experience managing senior level relationships.  As a key member of the 1P Games Marketing and Studio leadership teams, you will help set strategy, guide investments, and manage all consumer facing executions.  You will also be responsible for fostering collaboration across the game, platform, and services teams.  The Franchise Marketing Leader have experience launching and growing game franchises on console and PC, running global-scale marketing campaigns, developing strategic partnerships, and utilizing consumer insights and analytics to influence product development and messaging.  The ability to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities, manage multiple competing priorities, and balance growth strategies against clear brand principles are integral to the success of the candidate. Equally important is the ability to effectively lead and build consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Creating global franchise marketing plans that drive awareness, purchase intent, and engagement for all products
  • Driving and coordinating holistic strategies across multiple disciplines (game, franchise, community, PR/communications, partnerships)

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience
  • 6+ years people management experience

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of consumer marketing experience in gaming
  • 5+ years of working directly with game studio teams on product marketing and/or product management activities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing marketing teams
  • 5+ years of direct digital and/or online marketing leadership experience
  • Experience planning and executing consumer marketing campaigns across creative, media, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), PR (Public Relations), partnership, and events teams
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills and problem identification / resolution skills
  • Communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to effectively lead vendor teams and to articulate complex topics at varying levels of detail
  • Significant experience applying market research to developing brand/product strategies
